Process

Handle discipline by the book.

Report an incident, issue a query, and let the case move through warnings, hearings and appeals — every step numbered and documented.

Cases

Start with an incident, not a warning.

Reporting an incident opens a case. Issue a query with a response deadline, then a verbal, written or final warning once it’s answered. Warnings carry an expiry and stop counting against the employee when they lapse.

Escalation

Suspend and convene a hearing.

Suspensions can be paid or unpaid, precautionary or disciplinary. Schedule a hearing, mark it completed or postponed, and record the outcome against the case it belongs to.

Appeals

Appeals and a full paper trail.

Staff can appeal a warning, suspension or termination. Attach evidence, witness statements and letters to any step, and every case runs its own reference number that counts up per company.

FAQ

Common questions

What does the disciplinary process cover?

The full progression: report an incident, issue a query, then a verbal, written or final warning, plus suspensions, hearings and appeals. Each stage has its own status and reference number.

Do warnings stay on an employee’s record forever?

No. Each warning has an expiry date and is marked expired once it passes, so a lapsed warning no longer counts against the employee.

Can staff see their own warnings and queries?

Yes. Every employee gets a "My Warnings" and "My Queries" view and a stepper showing where they stand, and can respond to a query before its deadline.

Stop running discipline out of email.

Open a case, issue the query, and keep every warning, hearing and appeal in one place.
