Know where every asset is.

Register a laptop or a vehicle once and PRISM tags it, tracks who holds it and works out what it is worth.

Tracking company assets
Register

One register, tagged automatically.

Add an asset under a category and PRISM gives it a tag from that category’s code, so you don’t number things by hand. Each category sets its own rules — whether a serial number and purchase details are required.

Assign

Assign it, then get it back.

Hand an asset to a member of staff and it shows as assigned to them; log the return and its condition when it comes back. Schedule maintenance, start it, and record the cost and parts when the work is done.

Value

Depreciation and a full history.

Categories that track depreciation carry a method and useful life, so each asset’s current value is worked out from its purchase price. Every asset keeps an audit trail of what changed and when.

FAQ

Common questions

Do I have to number assets myself?

No. You pick a category and PRISM generates the asset tag from that category’s code. You still add the name, and a serial number or purchase details where the category requires them.

How is an asset’s current value calculated?

Set a category to track depreciation with a method and a useful life in months. PRISM then depreciates each asset from its purchase price, and the reports tab shows total purchase value against current value.

Can I see what happened to a single asset?

Yes. Each asset has its own page with its assignment history, maintenance history and an audit log of changes, alongside its serial number, warranty date and current value.
